Housekeeping: Mops & Brooms - which ones to use?

When it came to sweeping and mopping the floor, my heart would be filled with dread. To me, they were troublesome and ineffective in picking up dusts & hairs. Plus, I want minimum time for housework, that means from the start until the end, a chore must be completed as quickly as possible. And one day...

I found my life-savers! :) The Scotch Brite Quick Sweeper mop and the Magiclean Wiper Mop.

This is my magic mop or broom, replacing my conventional broom. It "sweeps" the floor quickly, easily, and more hassle-free especially the house dusts! I'm glad I got it.

 I use this for mopping the floors. It is effective in picking up dusts & dirt, making the floors cleaner than the conventional mop. :) (Note: for an even more hassle-free mopping task, get several refill microfibre pads to cover the entire house area at one go. These pads can be washed and reused again and again until the fibre strands are worn out, which is unlikely in the short-term with normal usage.)

I like the mops so much until I recommended them to my mom, who at this moment prefers to use the conventional broom & mop. Says they are cleaner than these fancy new stuff. Hmmm. Still, as long as my housework can be done quickly & I get clean floors everytime, these will be my go-to "housework helpers". :)
